Hey everyone, I’ve noticed that a lot of us sometimes miss important updates. New proposals appear, voting deadlines pass, product changes roll out, and other stuffs.
So I want to suggest something simple but genuinely useful: a weekly Amnis DAO newsletter email that gathers everything important in one place. Easy to read, easy to keep up, and a good way to keep the whole DAO aligned.
Here’s my proposal:
1. Title & Category
Weekly Amnis DAO Newsletter Email
Category: Operations – Community, Governance Communication
2. Abstract
This proposal introduces a Weekly Amnis DAO Newsletter Email designed to keep the community consistently informed about governance updates, ecosystem progress, proposal status, and major platform changes. The goal is to improve transparency, increase DAO participation, and ensure that users, stakers, and delegates remain aligned with the protocol’s direction.
3. Motivation
As Amnis expands its product suite and DAO activity grows, many community members struggle to keep up with proposals, discussions, new integrations, and seasonal campaigns. Currently, information is scattered across X, Discord, and the Forum.
A weekly email newsletter serves as a single, simple source of truth — boosting governance awareness, onboarding new users into the DAO, and strengthening long-term community engagement. Transparent communication is key for a sustainable governance culture.
4. Specification
4.1 Newsletter Structure
Each weekly edition will include:
• Upcoming & Active Governance Proposals
• Voting Results & Decisions Made
• Product & Protocol Updates (amAPT, stAPT, staking, features)
• Ecosystem Highlights
• Important DAO Announcements
• Community Spotlights (delegates, contributors, ambassadors)
• Campaign/Quest Reminders
• Security Notices (if any)
4.2 Delivery Method
• Sent via email every Monday (UTC +7).
• Posted simultaneously on the Amnis Forum as an archive.
• Optional mirrored version on Mirror.xyz or Substack, depending on DAO preference.
4.3 Implementation Steps
Phase 1 – Setup (1–2 weeks)
• Build newsletter template (HTML or simplified version).
• Compile subscriber list from voluntary sign-ups + DAO page.
• Assign contributor/editor (internally or via contributor bounty).
Phase 2 – Launch (Week 3)
• Publish first edition.
• Announce subscription link across X, Discord, and the Forum.
Phase 3 – Continuous Updates
• Maintain consistent weekly distribution.
• Allow DAO contributors to submit content via a simple form.
5. Benefits and Risks
Benefits
• Stronger governance participation and voter turnout.
• Higher transparency for all upgrades, votes, and decisions.
• Improved community cohesion across different platforms.
• Helpful onboarding tool for new DAO members and partners.
• Encourages long-term engagement from stakers and delegates.
Risks
• Requires consistent editorial work and coordination.
• Newsletter engagement may fluctuate depending on market sentiment.
• Minor cost for email tools if scaled to large subscriber numbers.
Risks are low, manageable, and can be minimized through contributor rotation.
6. Expected Outcomes
