Proposal Drafting Guidelines

When drafting a proposal, please follow the AIP structure below:

1. Title & Category

Keep the title clear and concise—enough to reflect your proposal, but no longer than 4 sentences. Choose the most relevant category:

  • Treasury – Grants, incentives, or fund allocations from the Foundation’s treasury
  • Protocol Development – Code upgrades, developer tools, ecosystem growth
  • Structure – Governance roles, committees, or working group changes
  • Operations – Branding, marketing, or community initiatives

2. Abstract

Summarize the entire proposal in one paragraph.

3. Motivation

Explain why this proposal is important and why the Amnis DAO should support it.

4. Specification

Detail what will change, how it will be implemented, the tools involved, and a clear step-by-step timeline.

5. Benefits and Risks

Outline key advantages and potential challenges or trade-offs.

6. Expected Outcomes

State the desired goals and results of the proposal.

7. Cost Summary

Provide the total estimated cost, with a breakdown if necessary.
